Walter is a designer and began his carrer in 1983, as a stylist at the Manequim Magazine, Editora Abril in Sao Paulo.

In 1992, he launched a clothing brand in his own name, becoming the first Brazilian brand to participate in Brazil’s Fashion Week in Phytoervas Fashion in 1994. He also participated the Paris Fashion Weeks from 2002 to 2006. 

In 2012 , he concluded this project and he is now a Consultant in the Product Design area and Coordinator at the Design and Research Center of Assintecal; Consultant of the By Brasil Institute, and Curator of the Focus Design Visions – Fashion & Art Project.
